WHO ARE WE
Who We Are?
CentreStage Agency is a proudly Australian-owned and operated talent agency representing performers in film, television, theatre, and commercial work across Australia and New Zealand. With a strong presence in Geelong, Ballarat, Melbourne, and Sydney — and a growing national network — we’re dedicated to supporting performers of all ages and experience levels to build meaningful, sustainable careers in the performing arts.
But we’re not your typical agency.
We were founded to address the lack of representation for regional and rural performers in Victoria. Too often, exceptional talent outside major cities is overlooked — not because of ability, but because of access. Our agency exists to change that. We offer more than just representation; we provide education, mentorship, and support that go far beyond what most agencies deliver.
Our team — including experienced agents, educators, and creatives — understands first-hand the emotional highs and lows of this industry. We've seen the mental anguish of rejection, and the elation that comes with being cast. That’s why we place the wellbeing and development of our performers at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that successful representation is built on relationships — real, honest, human ones. We know our performers by name. We know their goals, their strengths, and the stories they want to tell. And we’re there for them — not just during office hours, but after hours, on weekends, before a callback, or when the nerves kick in the night before a big self-tape.
We’ve built CentreStage Agency around a simple, powerful idea:
Talent thrives when it feels supported.
That’s why we’re committed to providing accessible, responsive, and values-driven representation. Whether you're walking into your first audition or your fiftieth, you'll have a team behind you that genuinely wants you to succeed — and will give you the tools, confidence, and connections to make it happen.
We’re proud to:
- Unearth and champion exciting new talent from regional and urban areas alike
- Support experienced performers in reaching new professional heights
- Offer a transparent approach to representation — no hidden costs or inflated promises
- Create a safe, inclusive space where all performers are seen and valued
- Represent artists from diverse backgrounds — including First Nations people, BIPOC, CALD, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and disabled communities
- Provide access to workshops, coaching, and industry training — including audition prep, self-tape skills, and career strategy
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter careers. Every performer is different, and so is the way we support them. From career coaching and mentoring to tailored casting strategies and last-minute audition support, we’re here when it matters — not just when it’s convenient.
At CentreStage Agency, we’re not just building rosters.
We’re building a community of performers who know they’re backed by people who care.

FAQ's
At Onstage Casting, our job is to represent performers and connect them with professional opportunities across theatre, film, television, and commercial work in Australia and New Zealand.
We work closely with casting directors, producers, and creatives to submit our performers for roles that suit their skills, profile, and goals. Once a role is offered, we handle the negotiations, contracts, and ensure that employment conditions and fees meet industry standards.
Our support doesn’t stop at submissions. We guide our performers through audition prep, manage bookings, provide ongoing advice, and offer a level of access that’s rare in this industry — you can contact us after hours, on weekends, or even drop in for a quick chat when you need it most
No agency can guarantee work — and any that says they can should be approached with caution. The entertainment industry is dynamic and unpredictable, with opportunities often depending on timing, demand, and fit.
However, we only take on performers we believe in and who we feel are ready to enter the current market. Some may find work quickly; for others, it’s a longer journey. Regardless of the pace, we’ll be there to support, encourage, and keep pushing forward with you.
No. Unlike many agencies in Victoria that charge $400–$600 per year just for representation, Onstage Casting does not charge additonal fees.
We strongly encourage families and performers to research the market and ask questions before signing with any agency. We believe in transparency, fair practice, and focusing investment on your training and development, not inflated administrative costs.
